Support the Corporate Planning and Strategy Teams by providing enterprise analytical support, complete with insights, as well as financial advice and counsel including active engagement and thought leadership in the development and implementation of business and financial strategies. A key focus of the position is to support profitable growth of the corporation by ensuring effective enterprise strategic analysis and planning. The incumbent participates jointly with Strategy Specialists, Business Teams and Finance leadership in evaluating, selecting and formulating business strategies, business plans, financial plans and assessing enterprise initiatives/options.
The incumbent is expected to work independently and exercise sound judgment in identifying value creating business plans/strategies, as well as in making related recommendations and implementing actions to create value for the corporation. The incumbent will provide analysis, advice and leadership across a variety of project-oriented activities. The incumbent may at times work under the direction of a senior project leader, and at other times may operate as project manager, provide work direction to junior level analysts or work separately and independently. The incumbent is expected to be flexible and able to provide project management and operate independently, and to lead project work – segments or overall. This is an analytical support role that may be assigned, at times, to acquisition (M&A) or traditional financial analysis/planning projects.

– A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field is required
– 7+ years of business planning, business finance analytical support or business strategy support, or consulting analytical role in a consulting company
– Must have a track record of demonstrated strategic thinking capacity and progressive professional advancement
The incumbent must be able to operate independently and be adept in structuring and solving unstructured business issues, situations or questions. In past experiences, the incumbent will have had exposure to business and/or strategic analysis and will have demonstrated strengths in leadership, interpersonal communications, and functional/technical skills. The incumbent is expected to be knowledgeable in financial theory and practice, as well as skilled in business valuation, modeling and scenario planning. The individual must have proven ability to manage relationships, operate and influence internally and externally – at all levels of the organization and across business and geographies/cultures.
MBA and/or prior work in a company whose product is business consulting.
