Currently looking for a HR Professional to provide expert counsel for North American Personal Care Business. Typically manages major projects. Functions as an expert providing insight and information to managers on HR issues and opportunities. Partners with and provides counsel to business leaders on various complex HR related strategies and issues.

Assists in the administration of policies and programs covering several of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, and safety.
May assist in developing policies. Experience working in a
global or similarly structured organization, business partner supporting organizational change processes, guiding and mentoring peers and/or junior level colleagues, program and project administration required.

Experience in one or more areas of HR (Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management) required.

Summary: Assists top management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities.

Responsibilities:
• Managing several HR functions such as Employment, Labor Relations, Compensation, Training, EEO/Affirmative Action, Records, Safety, Health Benefits and Employee Services.
• Manage HR function for a business unit or line of business.
• Develops & implements strategic HR direction and collaborates with line managers.
• Assists top management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business or related field.
• 5 or more years of work experience in a Lead HR position, or HR Generalist role.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA Degree.
• SPHR Certification.
• Labor Relations/Union experience a plus.

Other:
• Proven team leadership skills and posses the ability to articulate and support the vision, and influence across teams.
• Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex problems and opportunities within business and organization.
• Knowledgeable in Organizational Development, Change Management, and Talent Management, and Succession Planning.
