Position Summary:

 The HRBP will partner with the Kimberly-Clark North America Sales Leaders and their leadership teams to provide business level input to the development of HR and human capital strategies that:

  • Takes into consideration individual business needs and overall enterprise and HR strategy.
  • Drives, influences and implements people strategies that support and align with business requirements, KCNA HR strategy, and enterprise strategies.
  • Provides leadership team and overall organizational health and effectiveness; develops plans and assesses resources to enable the Sales Leaders and their leadership teams to building high performance teams and recruiting / retaining key talent.
  • Become familiar with Business and functional issues to effectively advise Senior Leaders.
  • Provides functional organizational design and provide career development support across businesses.
  • Collaborates with Human Resource Business Partners across enterprise to ensure calibration and consistent rollout of corporate initiatives across the business.


  • Develops a strategic partnership with the business or function leader through the alignment with business goals, targets, strategy and competition, financials, market dynamics, levers and issues. Keeps the KCNA Organizational Vision alive by developing practical implementation plans and making necessary adjustments in design to meet the ever changing external and internal influencers of Kimberly-Clark’s business. Introduce team start-up sessions to engage teams and continue to employ change management techniques to move current cultural to expected end state.
  • Demonstrates functional / technical proficiency, particularly in the areas of staffing, training, compensation, change management, organizational effectiveness, labor relations, legislative and regulatory compliance. Continue to build knowledge and awareness of best practices and legal compliance in HR Policies/Procedures/ Strategies.
  • Coach and consult with Senior Leader on team effectiveness, team leadership, talent management, and organization effectiveness so they lead the organization to meet established business targets using best practice techniques and processes.
  • Encourage development and retention of top talent within the business in accordance with company plans. Facilitate the management of top talent assessment using Kimberly-Clark standard performance management process and create plans to develop and deploy our key talent.
  • Align and cascade the Kimberly-Clark Human Capital Strategy for the business / function, including workforce planning, talent development, HR initiative rollout, and change management:
  • Forecasts talent needs and addressing talent gaps
  • Drives local implementation of global / regional processes
  • Assesses and develops strategies and plans to increase organization effectiveness
  • Supports a culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Take insights provided by Centers of Excellence to inform HR strategies and plans for senior business partner
  • Ensures team can attract, reward, and retain needed talent through compensation strategies that align with Corporate. This includes job slotting, salary planning, exception handling, MAAP/Executive alignment, options planning, retention.
  • Integrates and aligns HR programs for business and broker services of HR functional areas on behalf of business.
  • Provides business and employee perspective and insights to Centers of Excellence in representing the business in HR strategy/program/policy
  • Manages the Headcount to targeted levels. Obtains approvals for changing business conditions. Works with Recruiting Center of Excellence to install robust, efficient, process that secure the key talent we need to manage the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational management or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of work experience in Human Resources or a closely related field is required.
  • Preferred experience includes HR generalist or lead HR supporting a sales, commercial, marketing or logistics client group.
  • Ability to quickly establish a close working relationship with business teams.
  • Travel up to 25%.
