Primary Responsibilities

Ongoing management and expansion of the Global eSourcing program.
• Able to effectively position the eSourcing value proposition in order to increase adoption of the tool across the KC Procurement Organization, globally
• Continue the change management process that will enable eSourcing to become a standard process for all tactical and strategic sourcing events
• Utilize eSourcing platform both as an end user, a system administrator and an organizational trainer
o You will collaborate with Global & Regional Category Managers to execute strategic sourcing events,
o You will onboard & train users from around the world
o You will create and maintain training and standard process documentation
o Working with others from around the world, you will be responsible for the day to day management of KC user profiles, supplier profiles, all templates and all library content
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Director on project budgets and act as the single point of contact for contract expansion and renewals with eSourcing platform provider
• Manage communication with eSourcing platform provider about problem resolution, new enhancements and upcoming releases
• Build and update reports/scorecard of eSourcing KPIs

Non eSourcing-related Responsibilities
• Lead data analysis efforts for large sourcing initiatives to support global category leaders in identifying or expanding sourcing opportunities.
• Support category strategy reviews, completing relevant templates as required with rigorous analysis and relevant data.
• Work with global category leaders to develop savings hypotheses and develop rigorous analysis around those hypotheses.
• Lead or heavily support RFX activities for categories, providing clear guidance and structure to the process as well as leading the analysis of supplier proposals.
• Assist with supplier negotiations.
• Lead or support cost modelling efforts.
• Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities on category-specific tools and processes such as price/cost database maintenance, RFX templates.
• Research, identify and recommend cost savings opportunities based on analysis of both internal and market data.
• Help maintain the Global Procurement Center of Excellence by creating standard work, documenting best-practices, contributing to internal training exercises and reviewing third-party benchmarking studies.

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Procurement or Business Admin
5 or more years’ experience with minimum of three years procurement experience. 
Recent experience of using Ariba Sourcing Pro or similar eSourcing platforms.
Extensive experience and knowledge with advanced Excel as well as experience with other data tools: Tableau, statistical tools, SQL, etc.
• Strong analysis experience in which key findings have been translated into strategies to support business needs and management of quality.
• Demonstrated ability in hypothesis building, advanced modeling and regression analysis.
• Proven strong written and oral communications skills in which you demonstrated effectiveness in a variety of formal presentation settings.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

As consumers purchasing habits evolve and purchase via the eCommerce channel becomes more mainstream, K-C needs to evolve its expertise and capability to connect with its consumer via this channel. Experimenting with new business models and ways of buying will help K-C unlock how consumers buy and share the results with eTail partners will result in success for K-C in this new channel.

This role is expected to work with the leader of the team to analyze how eCommerce technology can enable new business models and assess the business process change needed to accomplish the adoption of this capability. The person is also expected to help the leader develop the end to end macro business process needed to adopt this new channel within K-C, and help functional leaders in Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, etc. reengineer their business process to be successful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop end to end process for eCommerce channel: Lead the development of the end to end eCommerce value chain for the B2B and B2C business
Facilitate and Influence process change with the various impacted functions: Work with the impacted function teams to understand the impact and develop appropriate process changes that will be needed to accommodate this change
Develop playbooks for regional eCommerce leaders: Develop and share macro blueprints with regional K-C eCommerce BA and BPs for local adoption and adaptation

As K-C develops its marketing capabilities to market to the consumer and deliver a seamless consumer experience through all touch points, the need to produce content that right for the consumer at the right moment (channel) on the right medium is critical for creating participation. Doing this at scale, in multiple formats, in multiple countries makes the challenge even greater. We are seeking the best minds that will help create a content production factory for K-C marketers so that we can create all forms of content in all media types that can be delivered to the right consumer, at the right time, in the right channel on the right device (medium) to engage maximum participation to drive revenue and propel K-C into the future.

Individual has direct accountability to drive the technology strategy for content technology (all channels) and technology to achieve scaled content development. This role provides strategic technology leadership on content technology in areas of creation, distribution, consumption, curation and measurement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead the strategy formulation of the content technology landscape: Work with the leader and develop strategy for the evaluation and application of tools that enable content management across earned media, paid media, and owned media. Strategies would include the rationalization and integration of existing and emerging technologies in this space.
Drive the adoption social media platforms by integrating within commercial programs: Working with the marketing technology group with ITS-GSMI, develop re-usable code and snippets that would drive the adoption of social media technology within K-C consumer experience touch points. They should do this by understanding the technical challenges/costs associated with adopting social media technologies within our consumer experiences and working with the team to determine how to codify and simplify enablement.
Enable technology to drive a global scaled content production process: Identify technology capabilities in areas content;
• Planning, research, creation, curation, distribution, promotion, amplification, measurement, and reporting; and determine the technology that enables K-C to achieve its goal of creating content to drive consumer participation and revenue.
• Evangelize content technology to the Business: Actively research, develop points of view, and evangelize content technologies that add value to the business. Will lead discussions that are technical and functional in nature to provide valuable insights for a diverse set of business and technology inclined audiences and build consensus.

The Category Development Analyst will be responsible for leading and executing the category management process for all K-C categories in the US Sales Agency (Broker Sales) business, as well as supporting Retail Analytics for US Retail Operations. This position requires the individual to interface with Kimberly-Clark’s Sales Agency representatives to develop and execute category growth strategies; incumbents must be aware of and be able to proactively incorporate customer, brand and sales team objectives and strategies into the creation and execution of annual category plans. The individual will provide high quality insights and analysis, leading to actionable assortment, shelving and merchandising recommendations, and report in a timely and professional manner that exceeds the stakeholders’ needs and expectations. The individual will be responsible for – and must be adept at – developing and fostering business-building relationships with customers (internal/external) and our Sales Agency partners, including proven ability to “influence without authority”.
The position requires a thorough and working knowledge of all resources and tools required to complete and present category management and retail analytics projects.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop sustainable and strong category partnerships by providing strategic analytical recommendations that promote total Category & Brand growth.
  • Integrate influential insights and data driven analytics to drive DPSM initiatives.
  • Leverage shopper loyalty data to discover innovative opportunities thru cross-category partnerships, developing conversion programs, and promoting new usage occasions.
  • Analyze, manage, and track key business metrics, including:
