Function: Operations

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m (overtime may be scheduled based on business needs).

Reports to: Manager, 2nd shift
Openings were created to allow for backfill of those retiring on the team. This is a clean, professional environment with small team that works closely together. Hourly start pay according to length of work experience. Immediately qualify for benefits and holiday pay from Day 1!
Essential Job Functions:

Cut/grind/drill metal using programmable machinery (lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders etc.) according to blueprints, and area leader instructions. (Employee will periodically be asked to work in other areas of plant according to skills.)  Technical Skills  Blueprint Reading:  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.  • Distinguish machine surfaces from set-up marks.  • Read and apply drawing notes and special instructions.  Machinery:  • Horizontal boring bar, vertical/horizontal milling machine, engine lathe, drill press,  OD and ID grinders, surface grinder.  • Heat treating fundamentals, NC and CNC operations, carbide machining techniques, tool and fixture design.  Hand Tool Operation:  • Be able to operate all manual and hand-held power tools used in Kimtech shops (including wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, punches, drill motors, sanders, grinders, etc.).  • Must possess own tools, and be prepared to have personal tools inspected when requested.  • Must have working knowledge of metals, shafts, pulleys, gears, coolants, etc.  • Must be capable of inspecting own work with micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.  • Must be able to perform bench assembly.  • Select appropriate hand tools as required for work being performed.  • Observe and abide by all applicable safety procedures.  Material Handling:  • Choose proper size and type of material handling equipment for the work being performed.  • Safely operate forklift, overhead crane, power hand truck, etc.  Physical/Mental:  • Employee must be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. Push/pull up to 40 lbs.  (Some grinding wheels weigh up to 60 lbs.).  • Employee must be able to squat and bend/twist at waist while gripping tools.  • Frequent standing, occasional sitting.  • Employee must be able to concentrate on and organize projects, have problem solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.

Education Experience:

Technical Degree preferred or four (4) years of CNC machining experience equivalent.

Prefer technical AA degree with one to seven years of work experience.

Job Overview 

The Strategy Architect Leader is responsible for providing leadership direction for strategic application architecture plans, standards, system design, and implementation with a focus on mapping Halyard Health Care’s IT capabilities to business needs. Reporting to the Global Professional Services Leader, this position is accountable for developing and tailoring application design concepts, defining architecture standards, recommending how to proceed with legacy applications (replace, retire, maintain etc.) and implementation plans for the efficient transformation of the current application portfolio.

Principal Accountabilities 

• Create and maintain architectural best practices and standards that address applications, data, and technology in the context of business processes across the Halyard Health Care IT landscape
• Lead analysis of leading technology, industry, and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture with a focus on aligning and enabling Halyard Health Care’s business strategy
• Provide leadership direction for the overall strategic application architecture plans, system design, and implementation at Halyard Health Care
• Provide broad understanding of Halyard Health Care platforms and applications across all technologies to both IT and business leadership
• Lead analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Define the strategy for IT initiatives such as legacy integration / modernization and ERP system consolidation to drive standardization, lower total cost of ownership (TOC) and business innovation
• Work with project teams across the organization to develop and apply architectural best practices and standards including performing a more involved advisory role on complex initiatives
• Develop and maintain global technology roadmaps and application evolution plans for Halyard Health Care’s IT portfolio
• Provide leadership and management of staff including mentoring and career development
• Identify and develop talent within the organization

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
• BA, BS or Master’s degree in a Computer Science or Information systems related discipline, MBA is a plus 
• 10+ years of software design and implementation experience 
• 5+ years of Architecture leadership roles in design, development and execution in a global organization 
• Experience across multiple architecture environments including ERP systems (e.g. SAP), customer facing technologies (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other enterprise technologies
• Able to establish relationships with business and IT leaders, as well as the technology subject matter experts
• Knowledge of IT research methods and procedures. Includes the knowledge of technical trends and the ability to apply technologies to address business needs
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Ability to understand & define the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term technology perspectives of changing business situations
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements

The IT Security Engineer – Web Security is responsible for the identification, tracking, mitigating, remediation, and verification of web security vulnerabilities in software, systems, and application services.

The candidate will combine experience in information security, web development, IT operations, and project management to ensure security risks are effectively identified and appropriately addressed while maintaining a balance between security and usability. This role will define, deliver and sustain the enterprise web security strategy, standards and solutions from a governance, process, discipline and technology standpoint, to support Kimberly-Clark’s global and enterprise environments.

This position requires a broad range of technical and interpersonal skills and is responsible for the following functions:
• Provides technical consultation and direction on web application design, architecture and system performance, and evolving technologies.

• Accountability and ownership for web security scanning solutions, processes, services and operations.

• Develop and maintain tools and processes for web application scans, reviews and assessments along with ethical hacking.

• Develop security guidance documentation.

• Develop and maintain secure web coding practices and enterprise wide standards. Educate and collaborate with customers on practices and standards.

• Performs requirements gathering, initial engineering design, platform/environment integration and evolution planning to support highly reliable, available, scalable, and cost-effective computing.

• Interfaces with Architecture team regarding the ratification and implementation of new Architecture standards.

• Interface with product vendors for escalated support and advanced product knowledge.

• Ensures IT security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IT standards and overall IT security

• Partner with delivery support teams and customers to maintain web security SLA/KPIs and provide technical leadership.

• Manage and provide tier II support for web security related incidents.

• Maintain an understanding of attacks, vectors and emergent threats (OWASP)

• Mentor and educate teams with expert knowledge of information security event management, security forensics, network access controls and perimeter security, operations, implementations of new technologies

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 8+ Years of IT experience

• 3+ years’ experience with Infrastructure engineering security

• Working experience with systems automation in a major scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.)

• Ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff

• Must possess a high degree of integrity, be trustworthy, and have the ability to work with autonomy

• Any of the following are a plus: CISSP, CISM

• Master’s Degree a plus
