 SUMMARY OF POSITION:  

Responsible for managing Supply Chain SAP systems (R3/APO) and leading a cross functional Supply Chain team and multiple initiatives related to Supply Chain systems applications.  Provide a high level of technical expertise and consulting on SAP systems, specifically R3 or APO, and processes for Material Flow to Planning understanding end to end impacts. Assist in establishing the standards and requirements in order to create effective solutions for Mill and Planning Personnel. Research and implement solutions for functionality in the areas of performance monitoring and tuning and systems configuration, design and implementation. Provide support to the user community and system training.

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Collaborate with various organizational Supply Chain teams, analysts and key customers. Direct reports/management of others may encompass 5-10 team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of all existing supply chain systems.
  • Responsible for the business analyses and process improvements that can be delivered using existing systems.
  • Partner with the team to set priorities related to projects and issues management.
  • Remain current on Supply Chain application trends and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for systems integration, data sharing, automation and process streamlining that will deliver time savings to systems users.
  • Strategically analyze and improve procedures to manage risk, and ensure business continuity.
  • Partner with relevant teams to ensure team’s work is aligned with K-C’s priorities, objectives, vision and strategy to understand supply chain systems’ needs, as new priorities and initiatives are considered and/or adopted.
  • Strategically assess systems requirements to determine upgrade of existing systems, replace existing systems with alternative offerings from the marketplace, acquire and implement new systems where the company has no prior enterprise systems in place, or develop new systems to meet customized needs.

  • Manage complex production efforts and large projects requiring the coordination of resources, budgets and deadlines.
  • Organize and develop quarterly and annual plans to drive weekly and monthly prioritizations of key development activities and projects to achieve superior management of business operations.
  • Create respectful environment among team members, and motivate improvement of individuals and team performances to achieve desired business results.

Primary Responsibilities

Ongoing management and expansion of the Global eSourcing program.
• Able to effectively position the eSourcing value proposition in order to increase adoption of the tool across the KC Procurement Organization, globally
• Continue the change management process that will enable eSourcing to become a standard process for all tactical and strategic sourcing events
• Utilize eSourcing platform both as an end user, a system administrator and an organizational trainer
o You will collaborate with Global & Regional Category Managers to execute strategic sourcing events,
o You will onboard & train users from around the world
o You will create and maintain training and standard process documentation
o Working with others from around the world, you will be responsible for the day to day management of KC user profiles, supplier profiles, all templates and all library content
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Director on project budgets and act as the single point of contact for contract expansion and renewals with eSourcing platform provider
• Manage communication with eSourcing platform provider about problem resolution, new enhancements and upcoming releases

Non eSourcing-related Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Procurement or Business Admin
5 or more years’ experience with minimum of three years procurement experience. 
Recent experience of using Ariba Sourcing Pro or similar eSourcing platforms.

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting a senior buyer in MRO and other services delivering cost productivity, working capital, and business financial goals. Scope:
The incumbent typically reports to a Director or a Manager within Procurement and is responsible for managing assigned commodities, suppliers, and purchases to meet customer needs.
Utilizing a structured sourcing process you will handle medium dollar category sourcing and contract negotiations. In other cases, you will dissect the requirements communicated by the business and express the elements in familiar “category” terms so we can benefit from the value available in a competitive marketplace.

Utilizing a strategic sourcing process you will: 
• Provide communication link between suppliers and K-C business units/facilities.
• Forecast availability for goods and services assigned.
• Keeping informed of current and future market conditions.
• Developing and managing vendor partnerships.
• Complying with K-C policies and internal controls.
• Providing challenge, motivation, training, and development for team members.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage the ongoing performance of our suppliers including objective setting and supplier evaluations where warranted.
• Comprehend and provide constructive input on legal contract documents related to purchasing terms, conditions, indemnification, intellectual property ownership, etc.
• Knowledgeable about the markets and how they affect price, availability, or supply chain logistics. Will use specific market analysis to predict behavior and supply risks to the organization. Will adjust strategy to minimize effect of market change. May provide market analysis to customers and advice to others within procurement.
• Forecast timely price and availability information on assigned commodities for the various consuming businesses and communicate this information to appropriate personnel in the company so it is properly integrated into business strategy and decision-making.

The IT Strategic Business Partner – Latin America HR and Legal must utilize strong remote communications skills to provide partnership, direction and guidance to the K-C business community to ensure that business goals are met through the effective provision of technology solutions and services. The IT Business Partner (BP) must quickly build a partnership with LAO (Latin America Organization) leaders to develop and agree short to medium term strategic plans and capability roadmaps, ensuring alignment with K-C objectives. He/she acts as the trusted business advisor helping to manage through potentially sensitive situations, providing oversight and guidance to enable the successful delivery and acceptance of critical HR and Legal initiatives within the LAO region. The BP also actively markets and promotes IT services and ensures that the demand for these is managed and prioritized effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Basic Qualifications:

Lead the strategic vision for the global Purchase to Pay (P2P) by driving standardization of processes, aligning policies and investigating and selecting best practices and enabling technologies that will add value to the end to end P2P process.  Customers and Customer Expectations:

  • As global process owner, the position oversees the design, development, and deployment (to the greatest extent possible) of standard global processes across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
  • The position provides stewardship, in collaboration with other key stakeholders, to assure that quality, operating, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. The position approves documents and communicates any approved exceptions from standard processes and policies.
  • The position extends from the businesses on the requisition side thru procurement on the order side, and finally thru finance on the accounts payable end.
  • The position evaluates, recommends, prioritizes, and oversees deployment of relevant enabling technology. This will include identification of emerging software tools, feasibility evaluation (economic and functional) and coordination of deployment.
  • This position would streamline strategic guidance and decision making thru a governance structure. He/she would bring strategies, budget, decisions, policies/procedures from the Global P2P Governance Board to the Global Implementation Team while escalating recommendations from the Global Implementation Teams to the Governance Board and Sponsor.
  • The position helps to make sure that process cost and service excellence benefits are being properly realized

Scope/Organizational Relationships: 

 

  • Oversees central and global project resources during the design and implementation phase of P2P initiatives
  • Liaises with other key stakeholders as to the performance of the Global P2P service delivery network.
  • Collaborates with other process stakeholders to identify current and future service delivery opportunities, evaluate design modifications, identify/communicate legitimate policy exceptions, and consider enabling technology. These other stakeholders would include Corporate, NABU and European Procurement, Corporate Tax, Group and BU Finance, and Corporate Treasury.
  • Liaises with other key stakeholders regarding financial controls and regulatory compliance. These stakeholders would include Internal Audit, Corporate Tax, Corporate Legal, Corporate Controllers Group, Internal Control Directors, Corporate Security and the Independent Auditors (i.e., Ernst & Young).
  • Liaises with the leadership of the Governance Board and Global Implementation Team

Principal Accountabilities:  Strategy (40%) 

  • Develops strategy and establishes policy of a global nature for the P2P process, identifying and documenting regulatory exceptions and other genuine exceptions.
  • Develops and proposes strategic 3-year plan with underlying assumptions pertaining to sourcing, process, technology, and workforce development.
  • Designs internal organization and/or outsource relationship with capability to deliver against strategic objectives.
  • Collaborates with IT leadership to identify investment in relevant technology to drive efficiency and improve service levels.
  • Liaises with external peer group and professional associations to identify trends in processing, technology, service offerings, and sourcing and emerging markets.

Execution (25%) 

  • Accountable for assuring successful implementation of standard global processes and enabling technology, evaluating end-to-end process performance and affecting necessary design or execution adjustments. Assure that both the internal organization and that of the Process Development provider adopt and implement these global processes and policies.

Building Capabilities (35%)

  • Provides direct leadership and management of team members reporting into role.
  • Responsible for building talent and capabilities within direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Mentors and coaches Regional Process Owners and Global team members
  • Builds capabilities with Regional and Global teams that allow them to monitor achievement of key performance metrics and customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Level Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys.
  • Builds capabilities with Regional and Global teams to assure Change Management plans related to both sourcing transition and process modification are developed, implemented, and executed.
  • Builds capabilities with Regional and Global teams Assures that the appropriate internal control environment and compliance are maintained along
  • Evaluates and recommends placement of high performing talent in leadership roles within the internal and/or captive organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, business, supply chain, or related field
  • 10 or more years of related business, Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or transaction processing experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in management of a large team, financial or procurement processing organization, preferably in a captive or outsourced shared services environment or, alternatively, a large scale Project Management in the area of technology implementation

Peferred Qualifications:

  •  MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting
  • IT system implementation experience
  • Experience with other transaction processing activities (i.e., record-to-report, order-to-cash, forecast-to-stock) is highly preferred
  • Experience with formalized change management programs is highly preferred.
  • Experience in influencing global matrix operating models without direct authority is highly preferred.

Position Purpose:

The Corporate Reporting Senior Analyst will develop best practices, prepare, control, review, and analyze internal and external financial statements and reports across the Halyard Health global businesses.

Customers and Customer Expectations:

Senior management, board of directors and governmental agencies – provide accurate and timely financial statements and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Business unit and other financial department personnel – provide accurate and timely information related to accounting matters and Corporate Financial Instructions and help them in their responsibilities.

Scope:

The Senior Analyst reports to the Corporate Reporting Team Leader.  The processing of financial data occurs for monthly, quarterly and annual actual results, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.  This is done according to a fixed schedule and meeting deadlines is critical.  Strict internal controls must be followed to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.  Complex accounting issues and consolidated accounting require the incumbent to have in-depth knowledge of current accounting and reporting theory and practices, including FASB and SEC releases and Halyard’s Corporate Financial Instructions, as well as accuracy, timeliness and flexibility.
