  • Position Purpose:

Reporting to the HR Director, leads the design and delivery of the CFO organization talent development strategy to develop remarkable talent at all levels by defining the capabilities and experiences required to deliver exceptional results and invest in solutions to fill talent gaps.  Looking for a dynamic personality that can work towards the Shared Services goal for Finance in 2018.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Lead the talent development visioning and LT alignment process for the CFO functions. Identify horizontal capabilities required to perform critical roles across the functions; assess capability gaps and implement solutions to address the gaps.
  • Oversee the training and development plan for the function to ensure that individuals receive appropriate training and development for their current positions and preparation for future career growth (Finance University).

  • Partner with K-C Talent Acquisition regarding CFO recruiting strategy to ensure that experienced and entry level recruiting efforts are contemporary and relevant to attract and hire a diverse set of individuals who best meet the core skill requirements of the organization and have the potential for long-term success.
  • Partner with HR to understand the HR-driven talent review process and tools and support the functional development planning process that could result in non-traditional career moves within or outside of the CFO org.
  • Represent the function in the development and implementation of enterprise policies and practices that improve the company’s ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent.
  • Partner with Communications Lead to execute integrated communication platform for CFO talent.
  • Coach and develop a team of 2 to meet/exceed talent objectives.

Functional / Business Skills:

  • Fully knowledgeable in learning and development best practices
  • Experience in designing and deploying global training and development programs, including metrics and tracking program effectiveness

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical compensation professional to join the Corporate Compensation Department. The incumbent will provide compensation consulting to HR business partners and team leaders, lead the global survey participation cycle, participate in North American surveys and the annual compensation planning cycle (among other projects), provide advanced analytical support and be the primary administrator for K-C’s compensation management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compensation consulting to assigned business units/functions by working directly with HRBPs, attend staff meetings, provide guidance on compensation policies and practices, problem definition and resolution, job evaluation, compensation training, and various other compensation tasks.
  • Conduct job evaluations by meeting with HRBPs and team leaders to understand the job, perform market pricing analyses, employee impact analysis, and issue resolution if needed.
  • Manage the global compensation survey cycle and vendors. Prepare company data for submissions to North American compensation surveys, which requires an understanding of corporate organization, content of key positions, company policies, and compensation programs.  The position analyzes the results of these surveys in order to monitor the competitiveness of the compensation programs.
  • Act as the primary administrator for K-C’s compensation survey management software.  This requires vendor management, annual contract negotiations, user administration, regularly updating employee, job, and structure data in the tool, loading of newly released global survey data, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Work as part of the compensation team that administers global annual compensation planning processes which includes process planning, training, data management, coordination with HRBPs, and system updates in global planning system.
  • Provide analytical services for various Compensation programs and projects to ensure their objectives are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and consistent with plan provisions. This will include data management, audits, reporting, and interaction with HR.
  • Lead various compensation related projects involving design of compensation structure and programs. Ensure programs and policies support and enhance business objectives.
  • Assist with data integrity problem solving and resolution.
  • Participate on process improvement activities associated with leveraging data & technology.

The Category Development Analyst will be responsible for leading and executing the category management process for all K-C categories in the US Sales Agency (Broker Sales) business, as well as supporting Retail Analytics for US Retail Operations. This position requires the individual to interface with Kimberly-Clark’s Sales Agency representatives to develop and execute category growth strategies; incumbents must be aware of and be able to proactively incorporate customer, brand and sales team objectives and strategies into the creation and execution of annual category plans. The individual will provide high quality insights and analysis, leading to actionable assortment, shelving and merchandising recommendations, and report in a timely and professional manner that exceeds the stakeholders’ needs and expectations. The individual will be responsible for – and must be adept at – developing and fostering business-building relationships with customers (internal/external) and our Sales Agency partners, including proven ability to “influence without authority”.
The position requires a thorough and working knowledge of all resources and tools required to complete and present category management and retail analytics projects.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop sustainable and strong category partnerships by providing strategic analytical recommendations that promote total Category & Brand growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Treasurer, Capital Markets provides leadership and stewardship to drive and elevate Kimberly-Clark’s capital structure, financial risk, and funding decisions that best utilize financial resources for long-term growth.

 

The capital markets team is directly responsible for capital markets decisions, financial risk management including interest rates, currency, and commodity exposures, debt profile and liquidity optimization, working capital financing, and trade and structuring execution.  The team also provides strategic oversight of global pension plans, including the outsourced administration of the US Plan.

 

This position is considered a building block for succession to the Treasurer or other key Finance leadership roles.  The incumbent will demonstrate key K-C values/behaviors, and be accountable in inspiring and developing talent.  The incumbent will also create actionable financing plans that are aligned with enterprise strategies, build sustainable change, and provide valuable advice to senior leadership and internal and external customers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise and execute key capital markets activities

o   Capital structure decisions including credit rating analytics, debt profile, cost of capital, covenants, financial flexibility, repatriation planning, dividend/share repurchase policies, and benchmarking

o   Forecasts of cash flow, scenarios, and metrics that drive domestic and international funding requirements, liquidity management, shareholder return strategies, and financial risk mitigation

o   Determine execution strategies to fund the company including revolver credit facility, public debt issuance, pension contribution and de-risking strategies, and working capital financing

o   Monitor and report on financial risk exposures and market activities and develop plans to manage or hedge key risks.  Primary accountability for global derivatives and currency trading strategies including counterparty management, trading, reporting, and value-at-risk used to manage currency, interest rate, and commodity risks.  Partner with In-House Bank services to execute centralization of global trading

Basic Purpose:

Provide administrative and analytical support for initiatives driven by the Compliance team. Responsible for the overall administration of the Code of Conduct Line and Case Management systems. Conducts initial analysis and quality assessments of new reports and ensures proper assignment of reports within established protocol. Owns tracking and statistical analysis, and supports requests for specific reports as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to the Chief Investigator and regional investigators. Develop methodology and instruments to review and analyze data related to investigations.
  • Administer the company-wide reporting system (Code of Conduct Line) by reviewing, assigning and tracking reports received.  Serve as company liaison with hotline vendor (currently The Network).
  • Administer the investigations management system (current Case Management), ensuring integrity of data entered. Collaborate with internal investigators to include all data pertinent to investigations. Conduct orientation and refresher training on use of the system.
  • Compile weekly updates, monthly reports, and comprehensive quarterly reports relative to all cases reported up to the Compliance function. Identify reporting trends in functional and/or geographic areas and prepare summaries for review by the appropriate business leaders.  Prepare report files for external audit purposes.
  • Review completed Code of Conduct Line reports to ensure timely and thorough investigations have been conducted, appropriate communications with complaining parties have been made when possible, all allegations made have been addressed, and appropriate conclusions have been drawn.
  • May assist with and/or conduct periodic internal investigations and prepare written reports of investigations.

 

Relationships:

Internal:  Reports to Chief Investigator; provides support to all Compliance and Legal teams and Kimberly-Clark associates at all levels.

This requires vendor management, annual contract negotiations, user administration, regularly updating employee, job, and structure data in the tool, loading of newly released global survey data, and troubleshooting issues.  • Work as part of the compensation team that administers global annual compensation planning processes which includes process planning, training, data management, coordination with HRBPs, and system updates in global planning system.  • Provide analytical services for various Compensation programs and projects to ensure their objectives are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and consistent with plan provisions.
